A fun way to a healthier you with the Camrose PCN

Challenge yourself to get active from April 25 – June 5, 2016, by joining the 2016 Get Out Get Active Challenge and trek your way through Costa Rica!

The Camrose Primary Care Network (PCN), along with Edmonton and area PCNs, are excited to offer the challenge as a fun way for people to work towards a healthier lifestyle.

The 2016 Get Out Get Active challenge is a 6 week on-line program for all ages which keeps track of your physical fitness activities (walking, running, swimming, basketball, cycling, etc.), and then turns them into steps, which then “virtually” takes you through Costa Rica.  Participating is easy and totally free.   Not only will you be working towards a healthier you – but by logging your steps and activity regularly at www.GetOutGetActivePCN.com. – you will be eligible for great prizes!

Registration is now open for this free activity challenge.  Visit www.GetOutGetActivePCN.com to get started.  Log in regularly to keep track of your fitness activities and enter your steps! While participants are welcome to use a pedometer or other step tracking devices, the on-line program will also calculate other activities such as swimming, biking, basketball etc. into steps so all fitness activities can count towards your steps.  New for 2016 is the ability for the website to sync with your Fitbit!

The Camrose PCN is happy to once again partner with Augustana Fitness Centre who will play a substantial role to the success of the challenge!
