February 4 is World Cancer Day, a day where we acknowledge the struggle and strengths of those who have received a cancer diagnosis. We are fortunate that the Camrose area has many resources for cancer patients, including this one. The Camrose Public Library is hosting the Camrose Cancer Support Group, the first meeting of which is scheduled for February 13 at 6:30 pm. If you're a cancer patient, survivor, or a caregiver/supporter of someone with cancer, please consider attending. 

The Camrose Primary Care Network also has a program for cancer patients called the Cancer Support Program. This program supports those who've received this diagnosis and their families to get credible information about the disease and understand the local supports that can ease some of the burden of the journey.
